On the 2014 elections...

Good job, 'Merica. Gun rights protected for 2 years, at least at a federal level.

Republicans - now it's time to put up or shut up. Let's see the smaller government, sensible spending, lower taxes and pro-2A legislation you have been promising.

  5. Yep Anon change you can count on. We can count on Obama not being able to appoint any radical liberals to the Supreme Court in his last two years. That could have affected us for several generations, especially in the area of the 2A. They can now put bills on the president desk to force him to make a choice, Reid has been running interference for Obama for the last six years. That is now over!!!!

  6. With the prospect of new federal firearm legislation basically in the toilet (where it belongs), I expect competition in the market to tighten......Yay!!!

  7. I really feel it was a good night for America, but I have a fear the Republicans will shoot themselves in the foot and the Dim's will be able to point to the GOP and say, "Look! They had the congress and the senate for two years! Look how messed up everything is! Vote for a Democrat for President!" Or words to that effect.

Also, I still look in from time to time for any activity at the Red Bud Forge. Is Randy okay?

  8. i have some small level of hope, but i fear it is all for nothing. the traitor in chief still reigns and the new guys will fear the "r" word as much as the rest. amnesty will be bestowed, protests will be made but come to naught. maybe some incident will spur the final gun control executive order, congress will quiver in fear and the bloodshed will begin. its 1859 folks and we haven't learned a damn thing.

  9. Washington State took a big hit. Let's hope that it comes under successful challenge.
