Note on You Took Away Tomorrow

Hey - may have jumped the shark on the 2x per week posting. Looks like I'm getting ahead of some of ya'll with the pace of writing anyways - here's some time to get caught up. Next new entry will be mid week. And I'm going to try to keep them shorter - totally understand that reading mass amounts of text on a computer monitor is often a sub-par experience.

Anyways, DO keep an eye out for a product review I've got scheduled for tomorrow...

Update: The tribe has spoken! Length will stay around where it is!

I'd REALLY like it if you would speed up not slow down! :)

  2. I'm happy with more regular longer posts

  3. GodfatherJsJune 23, 2013

I agree. Legnth and frequency of posts are fine, you could even post daily. It only takes a few minutes to read.

  4. Peanut_galleryJune 24, 2013

You mean I have to wait longer????

  5. AnonymousJune 24, 2013

I agree with all of them ^... it only takes a few minutes to read, and with the index those who are behind can backtrack....

Agree with the folks above. Who in their right mind wants less frequent shorter posts? Great writing, keep as frequent and as lengthy as possible without sacrificing quality!

  7. Once a week is probably a more realistic bid.

I love the series and have no problem with the current length or frequency of the posts. BUT, I understand that it takes some effort to produce writing of this quality and you have other daily obligations duties to fulfill. So whatever works for you, I look forward to the next installment.

I copy and paste the text into a Word file because I prefer to read on paper. I've been passing it around at work to people who are not normally into this genre and interest is growing. You may be on to something my friend...........

  10. I don't mind the length at all! With shorter posts I'll take a quick 2-3 minute break from working on something to read through them. With story like this I'm not going to do that anyways--I wanna sit back and really get into it. So since that's the case the longer length isn't a problem, its actually kind of welcomed. I'm always a little sad when I reach the end of the chapter and know I have to wait a few days for more.

I agree with whay I'm seeing above. Do what you need to do to maintain the quality, otherwise, length is not an issue and as often as possible please!!

  12. NooooooooooooOOOOO! Ok I will wait if I have too. But this story is awesome! I have to agree with all above me. I rarely post, but this story is excellent! You are very talented at writing. I really feel like I am there and it really makes you think. Keep up the good work!

Definitely DO NOT change the length of the posts!!! It's a great distraction from work and other things I should be doing!!! Thanks for all your hard work.

  14. I'm really enjoying the story and the feedback incorporated from the comments after each segment. I think you've hit on a smart, fun idea for people who are interested in Prepper/TEOTWAWKI fiction.
I actually like the length and just like others who post, I really look forward to each story.
    Keep up the great work.
Now considering that you have a real life and need to generate income to make your time worthwhile, what can we do for your blog to make that more likely? (And thus make more stories more likely?)
