Who else is pumped for #TheGrey?

Kicks unholy ass sounds about right.Whoever came up with Liam Neeson versus a pack of man-eating wolves deserves a medal. The Grey looks great.

You guys and gals as excited as I am?

  1. After "Taken" and seeing these trailers I'm sold. Hopefully the film will have some good information in it as well as badassery.

  2. I suspect that the video "Alone in the Wild on Nat Geo" was closer to the truth for most people. It's a little hard to watch but believable.

  3. Looks too over the top for me. I've been a bit of a killjoy lately.

  4. I've seen it (got it from a friend who works in the industry), and in the end it's more of a drama than an action flick. The wolves are a bit over the top often bordering on the supernatural, yet maybe that's actually how they seem when you're unprepared, cold, hungry, scared and surrounded by them. Otherwise it is quite realistic in its representation of a survival scenario. But it is a terrific movie which I intent to go watch at the movies too. In Finland (where I'm from) it will be called "Suden hetki" - "The hour of the wolf" which is really fitting if you know the folklore behind that phrase.

  7. I look forward to it as long as they make a clear distinction that these are not real wolves but rather "evil wolves" much like they did in the movie 300. We don't need more villinization of our dwindling wolf population by scared ignorant people.

    1. I hope the average person is smarter than that--certainly don't want to see people slaughtering wolves. They do certainly look like "evil" super wolves from the trailer...

    2. Ha! Come to AK and I'll show you a dwindling wolf population and let you talk to the friends of the teacher who who was killed and partially eaten by wolves. Before you ask it was confirmed by both federal and state officials that wolves did it.

    3. They are not portrayed as "evil wolves", merely as the top predator of the region that they are, trying to get through winter and protecting their den and territory ferociously from intruders.

Not a chance that I will watch any more of his flicks; you have doubtless heard him just say that after visiting Turkey, he feels he should give up his Catholic / Christian religion and become a muslim? Piss on him and the pervert-prophet he rode in on.

  11. Horrible movie. Story line and plot were pathetic! Oh and forget anything of survival interest nothing of value. It was a joke! I expected more with Liam Neeson. Don't waste your time or money.
