Judgement Day = Tomorrow?

Well ladies and gentlemen, as you've probably heard, judgement day and the rapture are supposed to come tomorrow, on May 21, 2011. Apparently, the Bible is fairly obvious about these things. You see, do a little reading, make up a few numbers, throw in Biblical little math, and you come up with some random numbers that indicate that tomorrow is the big day! It's not quite the complete end of the world that some have been reporting - that's supposed to come five months later, on October 21, 2011. Of course.

What might tomorrow have in store for us? Here's a few points from a tract about the May 21, 2011 Judgement Day:

• Dead arise (the CDC was right about those zombies!)
• Death will be everywhere
• Five months of horrible torment (not just regular bad torment)
• People being consumed by fire

These folks are pretty certain about their predictions, claiming "there is no possibility that God will not follow through on His intention to destroy the world in 2011." No possibility? Not even a little bit?

So, if they're right, I guess this may be my last post. Don't anticipate there will be internet access during the 5 months of torment and zombie-ness. If that's the case - it's been groovy, friends. If you're not one of the saved, enjoy the ride.

Of course, if they're wrong, randomly un-scheduled updates will continue as usual. I'll see you on the other side.
